  • New guy in New Hampshire

    Hey everyone -

I am new to the Jetfit community and getting back in shape after way too many years overeating and not giving a shit! Started my journey in July 2014 at 267 lbs on my 5'9" frame! Lots of cardo and a clean diet has brought me down to 216.

Getting back into lifting so I dusted off the basement full of equipment and have completed my first week of total body dumbbell workout.

Looking forward to meeting som great folks and picking your brains where possible.

Hi Dave, sounds like you made a good start. Well done on your weight loss.

Having your workout equipment handy is a good way to go. I workout in my basement too. Love it as I can get it done anytime that works for me.

I see you are set up & logging. Keep it up & you will be amazed at what can be accomplished.

    Best wishes,
    From BC, Canada.

Thank you for the kind words Robert and LiftHeavyWeights.

My goals are to get rig of some body fat...At about 30% I think using a Witings Body Smart Scale, but it fluxuates so much not sure what to believe. I am currently foing a three day a week....M / W / F full body dumbell routine to get acclimated back to lifting.

I have a calf Raise / Squat Leverage machine from Powertec as well as a leg press and lat pull-down with High/lox cables. I would like to get to a split routine at some point but not sure when or how to make the transition.

Looking forward to my continued improvement and learning as well as witnessing the successes of everyone on the site. You are all very inspirational!
