Hey, I'm Berin, AKA Ferrous Maverick at http://ironstrong.org. I tried to set up the user name femaverick here, but my iPhone messed up and I'm stuck with the user ID you see now.
I train for strength, and for fighting. While I'm by no stretch a body builder, JEFit is probably the best app available for the iPhone to track my training progress. I love, love, love the rest timer, and will delve more into the advanced features of JEFit later.
I'm currently working on getting down to fighting weight. I'll always be a heavy weight, but the goal is to get a flat stomach by tournament time. I'll worry about the 8-pack later if I'm so inclined.
I'm currently running the Wendler 5/3/1 program for strength, and doing my own thing for conditioning and skill work. I've got a tested 5RM of 335lbs on squats and an estimated 1RM of 405. Bench and press have always lagged behind, but you punch with your hips anyways.
