HemoCode is a food intolerance system. With a simple sample taken from a few drops from your thumb, they are able to determine what foods you may have problems with. Your blood will be tested against hundreds of common foods and will tell you what you have a severe intolerance to and what you have a moderate intolerance to.

Why is this important? Your body has to fight with these and this can lower your immune system making you more susceptible to colds, flu, etc. You may show systems of being tired, aches, pains, headaches, skin conditions, stomach problems, bloating, etc. Many of these can be traced back to food.

I recently had this done and was surprised at many of the foods I had severe and moderate intolerance to. I have taken these foods out of my diet and are making steps to become healthier and to alleviate many health problems I suffered from such as IBS.

If interested take a look at their website.

Interesting. Looks like it's Canadian only. Wonder how accurate that is.

I suffer from IBS and from eliminating foods I have alleviated it a bit. I just started at the end of December so I still have to rid myself of more. I'm surprised of how many things I have problems with. I always knew that flour, oat, spelt and other stuff found in breads, pastas and cereals bothered me.

I believe it is very accurate; it is a proven science. The cost was $450 however my work's plan is "suppose" to cover 80%; submitted and just waiting for a cheque. Hope it is covered; fingers crossed.
