Hello everyone!
I'm going for it again! I'm 32 years old, I weigh much more than I should. Time to drop it. Time to turn the fat into muscle. Idolizing guys like Triple H and the like, I know it will take a lot of work, and I want to make it happen.
Currently around 320, I need to buy a new scale, my last one broke! Ouch!
Looking to get to 220-240 with muscle instead of fat.
Looking forward to chatting with you all here and making something of myself!

You are going to need a big effort and a lot of determination to achieve those goals and I wish you all the best.
You can do it bro.
If I was going to offer one bit of advice it would be to use a daily nutritional log like myfitnesspal.com punch in everything you eat.
Also don't go to far too fast. the advice from experts seems to be when people take it steady they are more likely to achieve there goals and maintain objectives.

Thanks! Determination is exactly what I need. What I could use the most help with is an eating plan or schedule. Is it better to eat 5 times a day? I've heard all kinds of eating plans, and none seem to work. I just want to make it happen. I lost 50 pounds a couple years ago, but gained 30 of them back. Transferring work 50 miles from home really killed my free time. But now, I finally live within 10 miles from work, and I'm ready to shed the excuses.
I will be browsing the forums for all kinds of info to use! Thanks for the welcome.

The advice I have seen quoted elsewhere is that - for weightgain - you should eat a small meal every two to three hours - maybe six meals a day or even more (although a "meal" might just be a protein shake, for example). For weightloss the advice varies but most agree that it is important to keep metabolism high and prevent the body from going into little starvation modes between meals. One way to do that is to "graze" by having a suitably healthy snack food and having a small amount to eat throughout the day so the body doesn't ever feel the need to lower its calorie-burning.
For example; cutting raw carrots into batons and snacking on those whenever you feel like it. They are low calorie, low glycemic index and good for you. You can even dip them into a fat-free soft cheese or similar as long as you allow for the calories in your daily budget.
Kind Regards
Dave
