As a major Avenged Sevenfold fan (seen them many a times) I have been extremely excited for this music video to come out for the song "So Far Away", a song written by Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold's Lead Guitarist) for their deceased drummer and best friend Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan.
This song is extremely saddening and can speak to those who have lost loved ones and the pain it feels to live life without an individual you have spent your entire life with and then in a second they are gone.
For our JEFIT Avenged Sevenfold fans, you don't want to miss this music video at all.

I saw A7X on the first stop of the Nightmare Before Christmas tour this year, they did an awesome tribute to the Rev during the song

Damn man the Nightmare Before Christmas tour? They played Fiction and A Little Piece Of Heaven during that tour you lucky son of a gun haha, I saw them last September during the Uproar Tour in Tampa and they were incredible and tore the house down, So Far Away was and is an incredible song.
They are headlining the Uproar tour again this year with Bullet For My Valentine which will be pretty sick.
How did you enjoy the concert that night?

Damn man, that is my favorite song as well and I am dying to see them play that song, actually this time around on the Welcome to the Family tour they are playing Save Me as their encore which is incredible. Actually im not too sure when they are announcing the tour dates but on Twitter today Avenged Sevenfold announced due to high demand and requests that they are headlining the Uproar Tour once again.
Have you heard their new song they just released with Arin called "Im not ready to die"?
My wife and I just saw them for Welcome to the Family tour last week w/ 3 days grace and Bullet for My Valentine. AWESOME show. We also saw them last year for Uproar. We are sooooo happy they are headlining tours this year. They are a great band to see live.
They have not said when tour dates and venues will be announced yet.

Here was my view of the Uproar Tampa show I saw at the 1-800-Ask-Gary-AmpetheateruwEbL7qjCg4 and for So Far Away 14tD0Shrp_c.
It was an absolutely incredible show and they are one of the greatest bands to see live without a doubt

The one thing that also gets me about this song is that I have experienced a significant amount of deaths in my life with great grandparents, grandparents (both on my mother and fathers side, my dad's mom and dad and mom's father), aunts, friends and loved ones and every time I hear this song it makes me think about each and every one of them and the pain and sadness I have experienced for the past 8 years of my life with the never ending deaths and struggle my family has gone through (seems to never end and that each year somebody else is stricken with cancer or dies or gets sick). But this song is just extremely passionate and heartfelt and I can relate to it without a doubt in my mind, especially at the point 3:30 into the song with the slow guitar solo, its hard not to bread down thinking of loved ones, this is why Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands because with a song so passionate and heartfelt like this, it can tug at your strings and make you tear up even when you aren't expecting it or want to at all

yes sir, im not ready to die is great, good and hard! Im having a hard time finding that video I wanted to post - it was of their introduction at the Nightmare After Christmas tour, it started out with one of the the stage crew 'hanging themselves' from the rafters. crazy stuff!

Ahhh yeah I got that in the video I posted up from the concert I went to, they use it on the start of their tour with Nightmare, the guy hangs from the rafters and jumps down with the noose around his neck, pretty intense and awesome with the explosions and pyro

I've seen them live as well (X-Fest here locally). AWESOME show. Lot's of talent in that group. Not Ready to Die is a great tune.
