newb here... new to JEFIT, not to excercise...

in the last year i gained 30lbs.... granted i got reconstruction surgery on my knee (July 10) and i quit smoking in January.... no excuse, i also got lazy!!

just found this program...and i hope it can get me to my target weight... 165lbs.

im ~200lbs now, and im 5'9

so im going to start with running and strength training again... im eating super healthy (salads, fruit etc) so lets hope this works for me. losing weight has always been a challange for me since i have always been on the heavier side my whole life...

Welcome to JEFIT Rodnar!

Well your not a newb at all haha (Man I remember the term newb, especially since playing Counter Strike) but we welcome you here with open arms and glad you decided to choose JEFIT as your workout application to get back into exercising and fitness.

I have to congratulate you though on your accomplishments, especially on quitting smoking and getting back on your feet after reconstruction surgery, that takes a significant amount to overcome and to push yourself into an new individual.

We here at JEFIT feel that without a doubt you will be back into shape and hit that target goal you are wanting to achieve at 165lbs, if you stay on track and keep to your program of course. But eating healthy, doing cardio and intense lifting and pushing yourself will increase your odds and chances to reach your goal and we are here to support you and help you.

Feel free to ask any questions or post up if you need advice, help, support or any motivation at all. We here at JEFIT, all of us, are family and a giant community and willing to help those in need.
