The Legend, The "Macho Man" Randy Savage has passed away this morning after suffering a heart-attack while driving with his wife Lynn. As myself a wrestling fan and loved the Macho Man growing up and always had a love for running around my house when I was little saying "OOOOHHHH YEAAAHHHHHH!!", this is very saddening news. My condolences go out to Randy Savage, his wife, and his family.

"Macho Man Randy Savage -- one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time -- died today in a car accident in Tampa, Florida ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ spoke with Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells us the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:25 AM ... and lost control of his vehicle.

Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.

Savage was 58.

Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh."

UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and "collided head-on with a tree."

Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.

According to officials, Randy and Lynn were both wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Cops say alcohol was NOT a factor.

An investigation into the accident is underway. "

The greatest Macho Man match I have ever seen has got to be for the Intercontinental Championship between him and Ricky "The Steamboat" Dragon, that match without a doubt in anybody's mind was the greatest Wrestlemania match of all time and the greatest match for the Intercontinental Championship ever. They both tore the house down and as a little child, I kept jumping up and screaming wanting the Macho Man to win.

Who else can't forget WM4 where Randy won the vacated WWF title against Ted DiBiase, man those were the days and true Wrestlemanias that had class and style, not that I don't appreciate Wrestling today which I still love to watch Raw on a Monday basis, but Randy, Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, George The Animal Steele, Andre The Giant, Ted DiBiase, Rowdy Roddy Piper and the rest of the Legends paved the way for today's superstars of today but there will be nobody like Randy, especially snapping into a slim jim!

Highlights of the match

That's a sad thing. Even worse that his wife was in the car with him. She has to be torn up.
