Finally remembered to take a progress pic today. Sorry for the poor quality, the camera on my phone is crap. I'm also in a hotel room, lol.

Hey hey man you are looking cut and it seems like you are getting yourself into tip top shape. Especially seeing the definition coming in on that six pack of yours (no homo at all) haha.

What is your branch or at least you doing in a hotel? Because you stated that you were whipping your buddies into shape, so just wondering haha

I'm in the Army National Guard. I'm on summer camp (Annual Training) right now. My unit, an aviation maintenance depot unit, is co-located with an Air National Guard training center, so we stay in the Air Force's hotel rooms.

Thanks for the comments - I was surprised to see my 6-pack coming through again so quickly, so that is very encouraging for me. I am cutting, so-to-speak, right now, as I don't want to put a lot of weight on my painful shoulder. I've been doing my normal routine, just lowering the weight and upping the reps to a target of 20 per set. Been running more this week, so I expect to lose a little more fat over the next couple of weeks.

No problem at all and you can tell the difference and see the progress you have been making especially in the definition. The one thing is that in the cutting process and lowering the weight for each exercise but increasing the reps will help you burn those extra calories that you are looking to burn, gain extra endurance and strength in the process, and see phenomenal results as you have been seeing for yourself thus far. Of course adding running to this process will only benefit you more and im expecting you to look like the guys with 8 pack abs and extreme definition
