So I'm getting ready to order half a truck full of misc. supplements. One on my shopping list is casein. Anyone have suggestions on brands? Ones that taste good, not packed full of other stuff, etc..

That's sitting in my shopping cart right now actually. Just getting an idea of what others have used.

What's wrong with soy? A little soy protein is good for you. Probolic looks to be totally soy derived though.

Picked up ON Gold Standard Whey & ON Casein at the Vitamin Shoppe today. Thought about trying their HydroWhey or HydroBuilder. But I really just needed a good protein and casein. The whey is an isolate which I wanted for pre-workout, but also has some of their HydroWhey in it as well.
I bought the smaller, 2lb container just in case I don't like it. But I got recommendations from the Vitamin Shoppe guy and a random guy there who appeared to work out a good bit. Testing the casein tonight and the whey tomorrow.

Well casein is a milk derivative of sorts.
Gotta say I woke up full this morning after taking it last night. Hope this boosts my morning workouts.

Hydrowhey and Hydrobuilder are a waste of money, you have to have a significant amount of scoops and you can go through a tub quickly with the money you are spending on the product.
Optimum Nutrition Casein and Muscle Milk are my two choices for the top Casein proteins in the market.

Good to hear. The casein is working wonders...kind of. It almost fills me up too much. Like I was WAAAAY under calories even with a Chipotle burrito salad (I don't do sour cream or cheese).

I do love muscle milk but I usually just eat cottage cheese before bedtime.
