HI everyone,
I'm Shawn, I've been lifting for a few years but really putting more into it this year. I use Bodybuilding.com for much of my info and just completing a 12 week routine by Derek "The Beast" Charlebois for bulking. Jefit was instrumental in keeping me motivated. So easy to take the routine and place it on my phone. The 1RM being displayed all the time kept me from guessing to make progress each workout! Excited to begin a new routine in a couple of weeks, as soon as I figure out what that is ;)
I wish I had this tool a couple of years ago
Thanks Jefit!!!

Hello Shawn12,
Welcome to the JEFIT Community and we are glad and very appreciative that you are giving our application a try to help you get back into weight lifting/exercising once again. We know that our application will only help you further push yourself to get back into shape and keep track of both your exercising statistics and progress. The one thing that sets our app apart from everyone else is the ability to synchronize your data, keep track of all of your information, have a built in timer that will keep you on the mark for each set, and of course logging onto the JEFIT Forums and interacting with other members who share the same goals and interests as you.
These forums will provide you with great advice and our members/your fellow community members are all extremely helpful and willing to help you in any way as we are all here for the same goal, and that is to get back into shape, increase our strength, build more muscle or just have a better way to track our exercises. You probably already have noticed this by now but we are glad to have you join and hopefully you enjoy both the application and the forums.
The one thing with myself as well was when I was starting my lifting and getting into nutrition/supplements, I used bodybuilding.com all of the time as well, never really fiddled with the forums because I always felt that they were a bunch of super meatheads that would rip you apart for not benching 400+ pounds and had a 12 pack that a woman could wash their clothes off of if they wanted to. You don't need to thank us though, we thank you for your support and for choosing JEFIT and cant wait to hear of your progress and how well that you do with your new routine that you are performing. We would love to see you post up and log/blog on the forums to keep track of how well you are doing and to see your progress as you pursue your routine and continue working out.
How did your 12 week routine by Derek Charlebois go? Any way that you could make a routine in JEFIT and upload it because I am trying to bulk up and gain more muscle right now.
We welcome you to the JEFIT Forums Shawn12 and if you need any help, advice, or anything at all feel free to message me or leave a post/thread here on the forums and the thousands of JEFIT Users and Community will be willing to help you as much as possible. I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to hear of your progress!
Best!
-Rob
