Hi everyone, Rob here from Doncaster England.

I'm a past JEFIT user, just about finished recovering from a busted knuckle and badly broken finger, taken 15 months to recover.

Starting tomorrow morning with some light cardio and hoping to use JEFIT app on my Droid phone to help me there.

I have shipped on a lot of weight in the past year while my hand has been pinned together, sitting at a very heavy 266lbs (from about 190lbs) so in need of much motivation.

Welcome back Rrob! Good luck with the workouts. Hope the hand feels fully.

Kind Regards

The punch? No, just the usual fruit juices, but add tequila to give it more kick....

Hello rrobcook,

Welcome to the JEFIT Community and we are glad and very appreciative that you are giving our application a try to help you get back into weight lifting/exercising once again. We know that our application will only help you further push yourself to get back into shape and keep track of both your exercising statistics and progress. The one thing that sets our app apart from everyone else is the ability to synchronize your data, keep track of all of your information, have a built in timer that will keep you on the mark for each set, and of course logging onto the JEFIT Forums and interacting with other members who share the same goals and interests as you.

These forums will provide you with great advice and our members/your fellow community members are all extremely helpful and willing to help you in any way as we are all here for the same goal, and that is to get back into shape, increase our strength, build more muscle or just have a better way to track our exercises. You probably already have noticed this by now but we are glad to have you join and hopefully you enjoy both the application and the forums.

We welcome you to the JEFIT Forums rrobcook and if you need any help, advice, or anything at all feel free to message me or leave a post/thread here on the forums and the thousands of JEFIT Users and Community will be willing to help you as much as possible. I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to hear of your progress!

Best!
-Rob

No punch at all unfortunately, just an unlucky incident with a taxi door!!!

Doc's are pretty sure I will never be able to compete again, although I was never that good any way lol

I have started some very light cardio and gym work, will be stepping into 50% gear in Jan once I'm back at work and have access to my gym again.

Cheers for the warm welcome too guys.

Rob.

Don't let the doctors keep you down man. Take a look at the video below. The guy broke BOTH wrists and was told he'd never lift 100lbs overhead.

Not saying ignore the doctors. But the mind is much more powerful than we often give it credit for.
