Agree with all the points in that last article. Once you start to really go deep, you realize how much muscle activation you've been missing. Plus it helps open up the hips. I know a solid, light...
$1000/yr? Wow. That is uppity lol.
I've been grinding away at this lifting thing by myself since day one. It's, I think, tougher to some degree to keep yourself rolling along. You don't have a trainer or training partner keeping you...
Man your gym is like a disco! I don't think I've seen one with that many flashing lights. LOL
I'm pretty sure I'd fall flat on my face trying to game and actually run. I mean if you're doing a brisk walk it could work. When I'm hitting 7-9 MPH, there's no way I could do that.
Good for...
Cheat days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
I'm covered.
Check out Walden Farms syrups. Zero calorie and pretty tasty. Helps offset things a bit.
Then again, every day is cheat day for me. I gave up trying to be a bodybuilder. Ain't nobody got...
You can make protein pancakes using oatmeal and protein powder. They actually taste pretty good. Add in some bananas, cinnamon, apples, etc.. Yum.
Plus the light vanilla adds a ton of flavor to it without much difference in calories. Love that stuff.
Anymore, I'm too lazy to make eggs. I usually just boil a dozen or so at a time. It's just easier to eat on the run. And I typically eat the whole d*mn thing. My cholesterol is nice & low along...
I think that's the bench shirt making him look like trex. lol
I don't want to take away credit from the guy. Bench shirt, deep chest, whatever. It's still a heavy lift.
You sure he's not in college? Looks like the hormone gods have blessed him.
He's a beast for sure. Be interesting to see who takes Mr O this year.

I would suggest you keep it simple and use a routine that's already proven. You have limited time so compound movements will be your friend. I'm limited to 3-4 days/wk @ 1 hour each.

Fat free milk or water. I prefer milk just from a taste perspective. But at work I'm usually stuck mixing with water.
I can't say that I completely disagree with cow's milk being overrated. I will cite a few sources so that others can do their own research.
The pH levels of the two are nearly identical (within...
I seem to hit that same issue. Not sure what it is about deadlifts, but I get those type of thoughts to. Overthinking can really get to ya.
Well I love 5/3/1. 3 days per week is fine with it. That's what I'm doing currently.
Looks good on the deadlifts. The only thing, in my amateur opinion, is you may want to watch your hips. Your lifting them up as to start the movement. Drop them to keep the leverage.
Hit 135 today on my military press! That's been a sticking point for me. Felt great to finally increase it. 8)
Still trucking along. Ended repeating the last mesocycle since I had some time out. Starting light as usual and working back up there.
Hit 365 on my deadlift yesterday which is where I was...
If you're time strapped, don't feel like you need a 5+ day a week workout to get the job done. Most of the time 3 days of focused work are all you need. HIIT is great for cardio. I don't like it...
Can't really go wrong with Smitty's stuff. Very well rounded programs.
