Good luck getting PB to mix with anything other than jelly.You need a blender and natural PB to get it to sorta mix with protein. I gave up trying myself.

Day 14 - Meh
Play 7-a-side football last night in the rain, felt sneezy and groggy all day today.
3 hours until I hit the treadmill after work, as its low intensity I shouldn't have a problem completing the 45 minutes even though I'm drained, then home to bed for an early night ready for my 6am workout tomorrow morning.
Nutrition wise nothing new to report I'm eating the same old ham and eggs for lunch etc,
Having skimmed through some Keto forums I am not drinking nearly enough water, apparently I should be hitting about 4 litres a day.
My trousers are looser, my wedding ring comes on and off easier![]()

Doctors Appointment today!!! I booked an appointment to have my cholesterol and other items checked just to make sure I am not killing myself clogging up my arteries on Keto however I have to have the tests done at the hospital, new appointment booked for two weeks.
Eggs and Ham again for lunch ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I weigh less than 85kgand my Ketostix piss test says I am deep in Keto.
Hitting my daily macro's should get easier as my freezer was full of cod and chicken breasts which are low fat, they are nearly consumed so the next shopping trip will include more fatty meat and fish like salmon and chicken legs.
Bless my wife, we ran out of cottage cheese which i normally put on my evening meal veggies and she went out and got the Low Fat cottage cheese, when I mentioned I eat the full fat she replied "you and your bloody diets I cannot keep a track." the good news for her is that this diet is working so buying foods shouldn't be a minefield in the future.
Past two days I have had a common cold, headaches, dry throat feeling under the weather. I have read a lot of people on Keto get headaches, I feel really rough but on normal diets I have felt this way too so know need to point any fingers at Keto at this time.

Okay I was sub 85Kg on Friday but dreading tonight's (Monday) weigh in as I was a little bit naughty over the weekend. Maybe I am being overly concerned but I had 1/2 12" pepperoni pizza and a big jacket potato.
My Carb up weekend meals should be more cleaner and I should eat less fat on the weekend. Lets see what the scales say tonight.
I am changing my programme from a variation of SL 5x5 to a true SL 5x5 programme. I am not sure how introducing squats to my workout is going to affect my running which has really helped.
The fact I am monitoring my results means I can easily adjust accordingly.
Went shopping and got some Salmon and chicken legs should it should be easier to hit my fat macros as I have been mostly eating cod and chicken breast which has less fat content.
shopping is Asda is cheaper however Sainsbury's sell a better range of products suited to Keto so I do my big shop in Asda (meat and fish etc) then top up the big shop with Soya milk, Brazil nuts and Almonds etc from Sainsbury's.

Ouch Got DOMS from my first ever squat session, played football last night as well
added double cream to my lunchtime scrambled eggs as I was coming up short on my fat macro's but I think i added to much (100ml) as I feel bloated.
The scales at the gym are broke so I cannot weigh in.
On the positive side I'm losing weight and getting strongerMy goals are short term but I really can see a time when I am 15% Body Fat. I cannot wait to like sideways in the mirror and be happy with what i see.

Whoops Fell of the Keto wagon big time, I have not gained any weight but haven't lost any either
A lot of Sh!t has been happening in my life lately and I could list a number of reasons why I have not been so diet disciplined but to be fair they are just excuses, life is never straight forward and I should have maintained my discipline despite trying circumstances. So back on the Wagon we go. the scales at the gym are broken so I havent weighed myself for a week and dont when when they will be fixed. anyway measurement is the key not weighing.
TRAINING HAS BEEN AWESOME
Anyone who follows this log will know that I recently switched to a 5x5 SL routine.
Like most people looked at the routine and thought "Just 3 main compound exercises per session with a top of of pull ups or dips, that don't seem right?" It is right and it works, I am getting stronger.
I struggled to do my 45minute 2% incline jog on non lifting days, my legs just felt so heavy after introducing squats so I have switched to doing interval running instead.
