    Post Please help me with a Beginner Routine for me and my Girlfriend

    hi everyone

    We want start working out together. But we need a routine that we can both do together. Anyone know a good routine
    for both us. We want built some muscle and tone. We both new to gym. We want use the gym machine cause we want to learn the correct form first then move to free weights.

    There is absolutely no reason why you cannot both follow something like StrongLifts or StartingStrength. In regards to attempting to learn the correct form on the machines and not the free weights... well, I see the only way to learn form is actually do it. So I would personally just jump straight in with the free weights, keeping the weight low and allowing you to really work on your form before the weight starts to get really heavy.

    You could couple one of these routines with some additional cardio for 10-20 minutes at the end of every workout, if you felt you needed the additional work.
