    Four Day Split -- Help?

Hi, I'm looking to increase strength, muscle size, and improve overall health. I've never really gone to a gym for a steady period of time, so I'm looking to find a routine/program to follow that'll kickstart this whole thing. I will be going to the gym Mon/Wed/Thurs/Sat due to other schedule conflicts, so if you guys could help me devise a good plan, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Right now, I'm looking at this, as it seems like a decent four day split:

Mon: Shoulders / Traps / Triceps

    Wed: Back / Forearms

    Thu: Chest / Biceps

    Sat: Legs

Thoughts? What would you guys with more experience recommend?

The routine you suggested above is a bodybuilding routine. I can't say that it's good or bad. Looks OK.. Personally, I'd suggest you try a beginner routine. You have limited time and you're relatively new. StrongLifts is a great way to start. Simple, short, and effective. You can add cardio to it as well if you like. Follow it for a cycle and see how it works for you.

Whatever you choose, stick with it for 4+ weeks at least. Don't change it up just because.
