Well, today my legs are burning haha. Those deadlifts sure worked the heck out of them. It looks like a Tylenol day.
Well, today my legs are burning haha. Those deadlifts sure worked the heck out of them. It looks like a Tylenol day.
Did bodybuilding for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, with 10 minutes of cardio on each day. Today, I decided to do 1 hour of cardio.
Felt good, but my legs are still burning)
My knees hurt a lot today from all that cardio. The cardio helped me push through a weight loss plateau. I was hanging between 274-274.2 lb for the past 4 days. 1 hour of cardio pushed past that to 273.4. Unfortunately, I need to take today off from knee pain.
Watch overdoing it. Especially on running. It's real easy when you first start to get achy knees or shin splints.

Funny you mention that. I'm suffering from both! But, I feel much better today. Pain is nearly gone. Sometimes it's hard for me to not over push, but I don't want to get injuried either. My motto lately has been "When the going gets tough, the tough take more tylenol"!
Real shin splints will set you back 4 weeks or more. I know from experience. And believe me, no amount of Tylenol or ibuprofen will fix them. I was down for 2 months. No running at all.
It's good to push yourself. Just be reasonable about it.

Good to know, I'll try to be more careful with that.
This is the end of my first week using creatine. I read that it can cause some water gain and possible bloating. I did the preload stage this past week, which involved using 4x the normal creatine that you would normally use daily. Next week I will be using the maintenance dose.
I have noticed a slight increase in endurance for weight lifting. That being said, I have gained approximately 2 lb's and increased in size from nearly all my measurements presumably from the creatine/water being absorbed into my musculature system making me look a little "bloated".
The creatine should be fully in my system now, so I don't expect to have further increases in weight or bloat in appearance. I'm looking forward to seeing the effects on my lifting next week.
Knee pain is gone. Best it has felt in a long time. Dropped the weight I gained last week. It's funny how much water causes the weight to fluctuate.
It was a rough week. Didn't get enough sleep. Energy low. I had a terrible cheat day a few days ago eating over 4000 calories, 1/4 of that pure crap junk. My weight has gone up to 275, and most of my measurements have increased in size rather than decreased.
It's weeks like this that question why you are doing this.
Hopefully, next week will be a better one.![]()
It's only a couple pounds. Watch your diet the next couple days and you'll be fine.
