I was wondering, why do you take supplements for lifting/working out? Is there a feeling that you get from taking supplements while you are working out that leads you to keep taking more? Do you like the effect knowing that there is something that is providing you that extra boost for your while you lift and exercise? Are the final results after lifting then taking a supplement beneficial for your confidence and motivation to lift?
For myself, I never really wanted to get into supplements at all as I thought they were destructive to the human system but then I bought my first tub of Whey Protein and thought that it provided me with an extra boost of strength thus giving me confidence in the gym. I didn't think it was that bad at all and decided to take it a step further and try some creatine (in the eye dropper on the tongue form) which wasn't bad either but when you don't lift it did put on that water weight, but the extra strength and results I was gaining made it more of a reason to try new products. Then I tried my first pre-workout supplement, NO Xplode, and that opened the door for me to a whole new world of supplements and main reason that I take them. For myself I love the power, focus and drive that supplements give you, mostly pertaining to the Pre-Workout supplements as I love having that motivation and focus before I enter the gym. That feeling that I cannot be stopped and the only way to release my rage and energy is to hit the weights as hard as I possibly can and to see those results the supplement is providing me. I love the confidence I get after an intense 2 1/2 hour lifting session, sweating, muscles tingling and heart racing knowing that I took it to the limit and it will only get better from here, physically and mentally.
