JEFIT Pro Android 4.3.0530JEFIT Announcement, by robertrogo.
We wanted to let our users know that we have released the latest update for the JEFIT Pro Workout Application, version 4.3.0530. This update has included some major changes such as a redesigned UI, improved user experiences, new additional features and options, improved sync functionality, and other new functions.
1.) Redesigned UI - We have redesigned the UI in a way to save on battery life for users who leave the screen turned on during their workouts and to also give a fresh new outlook on the appearance of our application.
2.) Improved User Experience - One of the things we wanted to focus on was making it easier to set up a JEFIT Profile for new users and to navigate throughout the application. The most important thing when using the JEFIT Workout Application is user experience and we wanted to make sure that users get the full JEFIT experience but in a clear and concise manner.
3.) Added Option to turn off animation autoplay - For some users, many just want to jump right into their workouts and not be distracted or have battery life wasted by the automated animations. We have enabled the ability for users to be able to turn of the animation autoplay to conserve battery life and focus mainly on their workouts and recording data.
4.) Added option to create routine based on Day of Week or Numerical (i.e Day 1, Day 2, etc..) - For this update we have also included the ability to list your days of the week in your routine from rather being Sunday-Saturday, to listing your routine through numerical order such as Day 1, Day 2 and so forth. You can choose which day of your week will be the start of your routine and workout.
5.) Ability to edit custom exercises - We have enabled JEFIT Users to be able to
6.) Improve Sync Performance - Lately we have noticed a lack of performance in our synchronization functionality and in this update we have improved our synchronization function with the JEFIT Server to allow for faster transfer of data without any hiccups or mishaps with data being sent/received.
7.) Various Options for Weight/Rep/Set Recording - Also in this update we have included new options to record your data depending on the type of workout that you are performing such as either recording weight/reps, reps only, cardio details including a new calorie option/distance/speed/lap or rep/ duration and even integration with our interval/stop watch functionality that will automatically fill in the data for you.
Completion of new My-JEFIT Pages - While working on this past update we have also working on the new My-JEFIT pages. These pages have been in development for the past month and are near completion, we are very excited to have these new features fully completed and released for the usage by you, the JEFIT Community and to use in unison with your applications. Many of the new features and functionalities that we have included in this latest update will be included in the website.
Next iPhone/iOS Update - The next iPhone/iOS update is also being developed at this time which we are planning on a release within the next upcoming weeks. These updates for Pro and Free users will include many of the new features and functionalities from this last Android update, features that are currently aren’t available and a few new functionalities.
Revamped Exercise Database for next Android/iPhone Update - Also during this time we have been taking pictures for the new JEFIT Exercise Database which now we currently have over 1300 exercises, stretches, new equipment types, and workouts for users to choose from and add into their routines. These images will be high definition pictures rather than the drawn animations that we are currently using at the moment. We feel that these images will help enhance the usage of the application, help users clearly see the exercises being performed and provide better visualization during workouts.
More information will be available as we get near the releases for each of these new functions, programs and features added into the website and application.
We thank you all for your support, time and patience as this update has been in development for some time along with the website work that has been going on, revamping of the exercise database and other new features that we are finishing up to release for all of you, the JEFIT Community and Members.
