Hello JEFIT Members, Supports, Users and Everyone,
We are very please to announce the release of the JEFIT Pro iPhone/iOS Workout and Bodybuilding Application!!! For our iPhone and iOS users who are currently using JEFIT Free for their workouts, you are now able to download the Pro Version of the JEFIT Workout Application which offers more features and functions compared to JEFIT Free, a redesigned UI along with redesigned pages, more options to track your logs and statistics and much more. As our Android Pro Users know and understand, JEFIT Pro is for those who want more out of the JEFIT Workout Application and track their information further than on the Free Version of JEFIT. Such tools are the One Repetition (1RM) Maximum Chart, the Total Volume Chart, Training Logs for Individual Exercises, Progress Bar for each Exercise, the Ability to Set Goals for each exercise and more.
1.) Redesigned UI – One of the major changes we have made with this new version of JEFIT Pro that many of you will notice is the redesigned UI on many of our pages from the Exercise Detail Page, the Weight / Rep and Set Recording Page, Resting Timer Page, and many others. We wanted to give a revamped look to many of our pages especially with this latest release of our newest Pro Version on the iPhone. Compared to the free version on the iPhone and iOS, you will without a doubt notice a change; a much more organized and professional feel to this layout of our pages thus making it easier to access your total volume and one repetition maximum charts, being able to view current logs and previous logs easier and having your information and tools easily accessible.

2.) 1RM Progress Chart for All Exercises - 1RM is the maximum amount of weight that one can lift for a given exercise for one repetition. There are those who like to see how much weight they can lift for one repetition and this feature on the JEFIT Workout Application calculates from the previous logs you have recorded, what the maximum amount of weight that you can accomplish for one repetition. This feature provides motivation and a form of game, pushing you to break past your limits and achieve your one repetition maximum, not stopping there but making yourself achieve and reach new 1RM’s.
3.) Total Volume Chart for All Exercises - The Vol C is the weight times reps times set, allowing you to view a total of how much weight that you have lifted during the given exercise performed. For example if you lift 50 pounds 8 times and do 3 sets that would be 1200 total pounds which would be the Vol C.
4.) Ability to Set Goals – With the ability to add goals to each exercise, this can help you keep track of how much you are lifting and with the progress you are making, how much closer you are to achieving your goal for your 1RM. In the “Exercise, Resting Timer, and Statistics” Pages you will notice that there is a blue bar underneath the exercise information, this is your progress bar for how well you are doing towards your goal. As soon as that bar is filled, you have achieved your goal for that exercise! Thus you of course will want to push yourself further and set a new goal for your 1RM. Besides setting goals for exercises and your 1RM, you can set a goal that you would like to reach for your body statistics such as your weight, chest size, total amount of body fat and so forth. This gives you the motivation to keep pushing towards reaching your goals of either weight loss or gain, putting on more mass in your chest and arms and so forth.
5.) Progress Bar for All Exercises - As stated in #4 the progress bar is the blue bar underneath the exercise in the Exercise page, located right under the resting timer and in your statistics page which shows the progress towards your goal set for achieving a new 1RM.
6.) Training Logs for Individual Exercises - Users are now able to view individual training logs for each exercise in the JEFIT Exercise Database along with Custom Exercises. So for those who would like to view their progress for each exercise performed in their routine, we have now enabled this option so you can view logs from previous days workouts of that exercise and see how well you have been progressing, giving you the option to set new goals or push yourself to change the amount of weight, sets and reps that you perform for that given exercise.
7.) Ability to do Extra Sets without Modifying Default Sets
8.) Easier to Edit Logs while Recording
9.) Internal Time Stopwatch Mode – Just as in the Android Pro Version, when opening up the Weight/Rep Recording page, users will instantly notice the new timer image on the right hand panel where it lists the current set of the exercise being performed. Clicking this button will initiate the new Countdown Timer function that will appear on the top of the page allowing the user to start a countdown of how long they would like to perform an exercise for. The timer is automatically set to 60 seconds but by clicking the text field, the user can set the timer to the desired countdown they would like for their exercise.
10.) Internal Timer Countdown Mode – By clicking the Stop Watch button once again, you will initiate the Stop Watch Function which the application will generate a stop watch feature beginning from Zero and counting up to when you would like the timer to start. This is great for users who would like to see how many repetitions of a certain exercise they can complete before getting exhausted or how long it would take them to complete a certain amount of sets for an exercise. Rather than having to open up a separate stop watch application, the weight/rep recording page contains this function for ease of use and access for those who like to complete their exercises under a timer.
11.) Ads Free – Last but not least this version of the JEFIT Workout Application is ads free, just like the Pro Version on the Android Device. As we have stated before with the JEFIT Free Workout Application on the iPhone, the ads free feature was only for a limited time, thus we will be making the transition soon where JEFIT Free will have ads and JEFIT Pro will be completely ads free.
We hope that all of you enjoy JEFIT Pro for the iPhone and iOS Devices. We are very excited about this release as this means we can now focus upon new updates, features and functions for both platforms and all 4 versions of the JEFIT Workout Application that we currently have, as development for this version of the application did indeed take some time but in the long run was well worth the effort and are very pleased on the outcome of this release.
Next : Android Update - Up next on the agenda is working on a brand new update for our Android Pro and Free users consisted of new features and functionality and tending to the .bak files that our users have sent to us to help fix a few bug issues. We wanted our Android Users to know that we have not forgotten about you guys at all but we have been using all of our development team to finish up the progress on JEFIT Pro and the JEFIT Free Updates on the iPhone and iOS devices and now moving back over to the Android Device to implement some new features and fix up some bugs. We appreciate your support, time and patience as we worked on the iPhone Pro Version and appreciate your understanding during this time.
