How to Start - My-JEFIT Profile Page
1.) Creating your JEFIT profile
- Creating your JEFIT Profile is the first step that you will want to make as soon as you download the application. You are able to create your JEFIT Profile in two ways, either via the JEFIT Website or the Android App itself. 1.) Creating through www.jefit.com - To create your profile on the JEFIT Website, click on the My-JEFIT button on the navigational menu or go to http://www.jefit.com/signup/ to sign up for the Free Online JEFIT Account. Note : - When creating an account on the JEFIT Website, this account will link and be used for both the website and the android application. 2.) Profile creation on the JEFIT App - With the profile creation on the JEFIT Application, the user will navigate to the �Profile� page and click �New User� - On this page the user will click the Create Offline and Online Account button allowing them to create their profile they will use both on the JEFIT Website and the JEFIT Pro Application. Note : - The user will be able to log into their account if created on the website by clicking the Login Online Account and entering in both username and password. JEFIT Pro will then link into the profile created and saved into the database and upload user information into the Application. 2.) Setting up your statistics
- Setting up statistics allows the user to track their information and body measurements as they progress throughout their routine. On the statistics page the user can place in their weight, height, Body Fat and Body Mass Index (BMI), along with the measurements of each of their body parts. This will be used to give the member the ability to keep up to date with their body progress and benefit the use of setting body goals. 3.) Edit Profile Picture
- By clicking the main image on the top left hand corner, you enable the ability to uplaod your own Profile Picture to give identity to your My-JEFIT Page and allow users to easily find you in the Community Member List. Note : - The your profile picture will be adjusted to 220 by 220 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller). 4.) Account Summary
- In the account summary table users are able to see the basic information about either themselves or the user that they are currently viewing. This information ranges from the individual's username, account ID, their age, gender, weight, height, bodyfat, current workout routine and etc... 5.) Progress Pictures
- Underneath the account summary section, there is a table that displays all of the current progress pictures uploaded to the user's account. The table will display the 5 latest progress pictures uploaded into the account and the user has the ability to upload more from the My-JEFIT Page or view more pictures that have already been in the album beforehand. 6.) Body Stat Progress
- The body stat progress table displays all of the current data and logs recorded by the user about each individual body statistic in their profile. When a user updates their logs or data pertaining to the body stats, this table will change the data to reflect the new changes made. 7.) Benchmark Exercises Progress
- Using the JEFIT Workout Application you are able to track 6 Benchmark Exercises from the Bench Press, Bicep Curl, Deadlift, Tricep Extension, Squat and Shoulder Press, and the application will record the 1RM and display this information on your profile page in the Benchmark Exercises Progress Table. 8.) Messages and Comments
- Users are able to comment and leave messages for their fellow members profile pages, depending on the privacy setting for that user. Messages are sent in a private message format that only yourself and the sender or yourself and the receiver are able to see. Comments though are able to be seen by the entire JEFIT Community unless the users have privacy settings up on their account. - Also on this table users are able to view the progress of all of the exercises in their current routines or view their progress of all of the exercises within the system database. Completing Your My-JEFIT Profile1.) Creating Your JEFIT Profile
- The first step is to register and complete the application settings for your JEFIT Profile. 2.) Set Up Privacy
- After you complete the registration of your JEFIT Profile and setting up your application settings for your profile, you will be prompted to set up the privacy for your JEFIT Account. 3.) Upload Profile Picture
- Uploading your Profile Picture is the next step to completing your JEFIT Profile, as your picture cannot be any larger than 64 KBs. 4.) Upload Avatar
- When posting on the JEFIT Forums or Commenting on a User's Profile Page, your avatar will show up on their page. The next step into completing your JEFIT Profile is to upload an Avatar image, which cannot be larger than 19.5 KBs 5.) Complete About Me
- To allow users to know who you are and why you use JEFIT/Workout, you will want to then finish your About Me section. 6.) Enter in One Body Stat Log
- Once finished with your About Me you will be prompted to enter in One Body Stat Log. By clicking on the link you will be taken to the My-Logs page of your JEFIT Profile, then click on the current date you are entering body stat logs for then complete the table with information you are looking to enter in. 7.) Enter a Benchmark Exercise Log
- A Benchmark Exercise Log shoulder be entered in after completing the Body Stat Log step. - The Current Benchmark Exercises we have in the Exercise Database are the Barbell Bench Press, Barbell Bicep Curl, Barbell Tricep Extension, Barbell Shoulder Press, Barbell Deadlift and Barbell Squat 8.) Upload 3 Progress Pictures
- JEFIT Users are able to upload progress pictures into their accounts to show off their progress using the JEFIT Workout Application. To completely finish filling out your JEFIT Profile you will want to upload 3 progress pictures into your account. My-JEFIT Left Panel Links1.) My Progress
- Clicking on the My-Progress button will re-direct you to your main My-JEFIT Profile Page where you are able to view your current progress for your Body Statistics, Benchmark Exercises, view your overall summary and click on other links to view more data and information that you track through the JEFIT Application. 2.) My Routines

My Submits - When creating an account on the JEFIT Website, this account will link and be used for both the website and the android application. 3.) My Exercises
- On the "My-Exercises" page, users are able to view all of the custom exercises created by yourself through either the JEFIT Website or through the JEFIT Application. On the custom exercise database there are a select few exercises that have already been pre-created for the usage and logging as soon as you open up and use the app. - You can create custom exercises that can be tracked through the website or when you synchronize with the application, you can go to the custom exercise database and begin tracking the exercises that you have just created. 4.) My Logs
- Clicking on the "My-Logs" page will re-direct you to where all of your logs are stored after each workout that you perform. You are also able to edit current logs, previous logs, enter in Body Statistics to update your body logs, or even create notes for that days worth of exercises. 5.) App Settings
- In the app settings page, users can change their offline account name, date of birth, gender for the user of the application, units of measurement that track your logs, force sync your application on the next time synchronized or the ability to clear all online logs linked to your account. 6.) Privacy Settings
- Members are able to set their privacy for their profile pages from either their pages to be viewed by Everyone, JEFIT Members Only, Friends Only, Myself Only, or completely customize your privacy settings to limit what can be viewed by the community or general public. 7.) Email / Password Retrieval and Resetting
- If a user wants to be able to change their password linked to their account or their email address for their profile, they are able to change simply by clicking on the Email / Password page button and then entering in their old password then either creating a new password or email for their account. This change should be automatic and next time you log into your account you will want to use the new password. 8.) Forum Profile Page
- There are two various profile pages on the JEFIT Website from the "My-JEFIT" profile pages along with the Forum Profile Page which is linked to the forum database and but also linked to the My-JEFIT Profile Pages. Any comments left on a users profile page will display on their forum profile page as well but on this page you will also be able to view the recent viewers of your profile page, what type of groups that you belong to as well as the last activity of the user on the JEFIT Website. 9.) Forum Profile Settings
- Editing your forum profile settings differenciate from the setting of your privacy settings on your main JEFIT Profile Page, these settings will reflect how you receive personal messages from other users, comments, how you view the JEFIT Forums and time display on your forum profile. 10.) Forum Groups
- For users who share a common interest, they can create groups within the JEFIT Forums, invite their friends and other users, upload pictures and create various discussions and threads about topics regarding their interests. |
