  • starting the fight club excercise plan with "younger next year" as a life plan

Hello everyone, New Guy here, the name is Rich, i'm 6'0 200 lbs. always excercised, lift weights, play tennis, run a little, play hoops, always been active but have never been real cut since I was 25 anyways. Im 52 now and want to lose 20 lbs of mostly body fat. I have decided to start the plan Brad Pitt used for the movie Fight Club. He is my height and weighed 155lbs, Yikes! I know I wont get that skinny and dont want to, but 20 lbs would be huge for me. Most of my excess weight is the core and up, my legs are pretty skinny and thats fine.
This program is basically lower weights and many reps like 15-25, with 1 minute rest between. He did one body part a day 5 days a week, I plan on doing 2 body parts a day every other day and cardio on the other days. I also have started a low fat lowcarb diet but eating 4-5 times a day of high proptein meals. I plan on doing cardio 6 days a week mixing up the intensity useing a heat Rate Monitor as described in the "Younger next Year" book, (great read).

What do people think? Any suggestions, ideas? etc. I will get a picture up soon, to track progress

I've been doing low carb since January I have lost 60 pounds. Granted Men lose faster than women, and being a women I am happy with my results so far! Keep up the good work. I don't know anything about fight club?!? Going to have to watch. Now even though I have lost 60 pounds with out exercising, I still have another 100 to lose, but I am starting the exercise now.
