Support of JeFit integration

I support the fact that JeFit administration is working on improving the quality of their product, but I would like to also see a bigger push towards syncing with other applications, via either MyFitnessPal or FitBit specifically.

Fitbit Aria integration would be great. This is a basic need to sync my weigh-ins.

Hello! This thread was started in 2013. Are there any updates on when application/device integrations will be available?

They will only implement this untill most of the elite stop paying their subscription in a sort of protest i think.
That isn't going to happen over night ... . I'm hoping they will implement this soon.

Two of the biggest threads here go about the same subject and they are started a long time a go. So yeah i don't think you need to put your hopes high. If you want integration with other apps you should take a look at the competition IMO.

Sigh

I might have to drop JeFit then - I just got here was looking to sync with my Fitbit and Myfitnesspal. Integration and data collaboration is key to my needs. I am sorry but no app will have everything I need and want, and I mix and match to get the solutions that meet my need.

I bought the Samsung Fit and dropped it for its lack of integration and won't buy another till it does. Looks like I will have to do the same here.

Thanks for the info everyone.

For start

First integrate weigh data from Withings and Fitbit. Then maybe export workout calories to MFP and Healthkit.
Nice to see import HR from wahoo pulsometer and export workout stats (time, calories) to Runkeeper and Endomondo.
I use Runkeeper, Nike, Endomondo, Wahoo, Moves, Healthkit, Withings, Fitbit, MFP, Pact and they all share data and work fine together.

I also just purchased the FitBit [Charge HR]. I have been using JeFit for years now. Discovering that FitBit and MyFitnessPal integrate together was very exciting. I said this evening "If only my JeFit would sync with FitBit or MyFitnessPal, I wouldn't need any other tracking apps for my health.

I'm confident that the JeFit team could build this platform to integrate with FitBit and allow for tiered features for Pro and Elite users.

"As I start my workout week.
I pray that JeFit integrates.
If I should tire before they create,
I fear this app I will replace."

Fitbit integration

Dear Robert

Fully support Fitbit integration.

Jefit is great and also has the best body stats / goals tracking, but for my cardio and daily steps etc. fitbit is the best. Would it not be the perfect solution to have both talking to each other.
Then for fun throw in the Withings scale and heart monitor.
Just think what a fantastic app and dashboard that would be.
Please do consider opening up to integration

At the current moment we aren't looking into integrating with other fitness apps but we are looking into adding in certain fitness tools like fitbit or withings.

This is something that we are discussing internally about our app/the company, as right now our main focus is creating a brand for Jefit and to focus on our own product. (i.e adding in more features, revamping the website, updating our apps and so forth)

It is not to say that this isn't out of the equation but it isn't something that we are currently focused upon at this moment. We will look into it as something we might add in the future but will have to discuss this within the company and see how it would work for us.

Again we do appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback and will look into possible integrations in the future

- Robert

I am also interested on Jefit integration to some of the big appps like mfp, runkeeper or Virgin Pulse main reason for me is so I can sync my workouts with Virgin Pulse since my health benefits are link to this fitness app and I will get many for my health insurance. It will be great if integration was with runkeeper since I use it when I go out jogging. Unfuntanly I am looking at other apps like Gym Hero and Fitocracy because the offer the integration with runkeeper. I love Jefit great app and is develop local to me so I want to support you guys but I dont see any response lately from the company.

Thanks

Just going to support everyone's request. Will start by saying that I love JeFit and of all workout apps that I have tried (and I did some proper research) - it it is clearly the best. For tracking workouts in the gym. Period. Not running, not dancing.

Recently, tailoring the set of aplications you use to best fit your need has become a deal breaker. By linking solutions you get to save time. We would _anyway_ use all the apps that we need to match our life styles and ways of thinking.

For a developer it is simply impossible to be the best for everyone. Some people would use just your app and others would use yours plus some other, third group would use some alternative. No matter how good and polished JeFit gets you would still have some people who would want to use your software in combination with some other.

So right now it is only a matter whether you "play along" or not. You won't really lose anything by allowing your solution to work with other ones (I have in mind ones that provide extra features - running tracking, diet tracking).
But by not doing so and not letting people save time (now all the information is still transferred and combined but manually in a clumsy manner) you might start losing your long-time clients. Because it feels like you are more money/business-focused than focused on your clients and making their lives easier. (This thread started back in 2013 and features still aren't added to JeFit) If people don't start leaving now then maybe when there is an alternative that has even a little inferior set of features, but with this integration.

My point is that while I'm definitely going to continue using JeFit, I will also use the rest of the apps, but if there is something equally good, plus a chance to save my time - automatic linking and data transfer - I am going to switch.

Loyalty is a doggie word. Actually it is earned trust that looks similar and is often mistaken for loyalty.
Well, trust is something you earn and lose. Right now you are undermining it.

But thank you for the great app. It does it's job very well. Even if it is being fanatically secretive with it.

App and Website Questions Forum - Export data, Integrate with other Apps and Devices

Looking at the JEFIT App and Website Questions Forum, and sorting by number of views;

https://www.jefit.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?14-JEFIT-App-and-Website-Questions&sort=views&order=desc

You can see that some of the most popular discussions are regarding the export feature, access to the database, integration with other applications (API) and wearable tech. And some of these threads were started years ago. This issue remains unresolved in 2015.
