  • How much cardio do you ACTUAL do if you're trying to tone up.

    Hey Guys,

I am stuck on what to do. Right now I do 60 mins/3 times a week on the stair master buring about 600 cal or more, on the off days I lift weights, I am seeing NO RESULTS whatsoever. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do?

So your burning 2000ish calories a week through cardio and quite abit from the weights etc

So your diet must be wrong if youve had no weightloss or your not measuring it properly

I think you should reconsider what you are doing (I have seen this many times among friends)

Much training - especially hard training and long cardios - stress your body releasing stress hormones (adrenaline and cortisol). Stress hormones tend often to stop weight reduction. Read at the web about how stress hormones interact with weight - there is no difference how the hormones were created.

Stop doing cardio for a while and spend one more hour at the gym instead. Or spend another 20 minutes at low pace burning up the cortisole.
