    Any recommendations for a newbie?

I just downloaded the Jefit app and I am looking for a routine(s) to use. My main goal is to lose weight through lifting. I can only work out 4 days a week.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jeff G

"Only" 4 days a week is plenty of time. Losing weight is more about diet than exercise. That said, I will recommend the same routine I recommend to just about every beginnner; StrongLifts. It's simple and effective. You'll also be set up for intermediate work after it. It will leave time for you to work in cardio as well. You don't need to buy anything from that site. The program is free and there are several people here that can help with questions. Check the public logs section.
