    New To Bulking

    Hi All,

I was 238lbs BMI 30 + BF 24, Now 201lbs BMI 26 + BF 20, looking to stay about the same weight but increase muscle mass.

My Question is, do I continue to diet and increase Muscle Mass , or Start a Bulking Phase and do a cutting phase to get weight back down after.?

    Any Advise appreciated

    Regards

Bulking? Cutting? Are you doing a competition? If not than I would personally just forget about stuff like this and lift heavy, eat proper, do adequate cardio, drink plenty of water, eat enough calories and get decent sleep. I have personally found that the majority of people have no real concept of what this means. The majority of people do not fit into the category of needing to bulk and cut. Competition you may but I can tell you from people I know who have done this; not the healthiest of things. I say "don't complicate things, just lift."

I agree with both if you. Whats it comes down to is whats most important, size, cut, strength, and endurance. My order is strength first then cut after is endurance and finally size.although some people just focus on two maybe even one,I go for all around . My workout is 8 reps with hard fast pumps pause for 3 seconds with mucle contracted and slow negatives. 5 sets with 1 1/2 min. rest periods.Medium healthy size meals with protine 5 times a day. If you want to bulk then low reps(about 7) 3 sets ,1 max out set with1 min rest . Make sure its always controlled movements through every rep and shock your mucle every time.. Eat large meals and take protine.
