Yeah I know. It's ****ing annoying to me but it's called "mood lighting" and it's a gym meant for very uppity preppy people. I only go there to train cos my friend's the manager and I got the membership @ 25% the going rate of US Dollars 1,000 per year lol.. Ridiculous.

Exactly. They have an importer original Hammer Strength lifting platform but they don't allow chalk lol... I'll never figure this out. If my friend wasn't the manager of the gym and didn't drag me there to sign up I wouldn't have spent the $250 let alone $1000 which I'd NEVER pay for a gym that doesn't actively allow chalk or strength sports. Thankfully they are okay with my camera and tripod because all the actor/model/wannabe-actor/model crowd takes pics of themselves in any case lol!!!

    WEIGHTED PULL-UPS & ROWS Training - Mesocycle 57 Week 2

    This is from Monday night.

    Weighted Pull-ups:
    +70 x 2
    +45 x 4
    +70 x 2
    +45 x 3
    +70 x 2
    +45 x 3
    +80 x 1
    BW x 10
I added 1 rep to the first +45 set. Good progression. One rep per week is the challenge. I'll get to +45x6x3 hopefully and then be at the next stage of Weighted Pull-ups.

    Chest Supported Incline Bench Rows:
    70 x 7 x 4
    SDT Progression, SP = R

    Weighted Pull-ups:
    +25 x 4
    +25 x 2 + 1 + 1
    +25 x 4
    BW x hold
I was REALLY pressed for time. I had barely 30 seconds rest between these sets….no wonder my grip messed up and I failed.

LOL. I use Liquid Grip when I can't use chalk. Not quite the same, but it works and its easy to apply. I'm fortunate to have a fair amount of equipment between home and my work. I haven't dealt with a gym in many years. Though I suspect that will change as I get the wife "motivated". Can't wait. *sarcasm*
