Agreed! Maybe I have a bit of OCD or something, but it bugs me when the weights/dumbbells are out of order. I usually find them on the floor! What I do is, between sets (as I'm resting), organize. I go to a small gym (literally 1 minute from my house - how awesome is that?) so there are no employees to put everything away, just the owner. I wish everyone had the same consideration, but I've given up on that.

Our gym is too busy for the dumbbells to be in the right order on the rack, as people are constantly moving them from one end to the other, but at least people could put them back in pairs! Really annoys me when I can find one weight I want really easily and the only matching one is right at the far end of the massive rack.

Also, I don't mind where on the rack the weight plates are put back, but I hate it when people mix different size plates on the same peg so you have to move a load to get at the one you want. It's either really lazy or really unobservant!

The only good thing about it is im pretty small so some big dude coming to use the same weights as me especially for the same exercise is kinda an ego boost especially with the same kind of rep range etc

No issues here. Then again, I workout at home or work. I know the other guy that lifts at work. I can also lift that guy. We have an understanding.

I've had a guy sit on the other end of a bench I was using and start doing a set.
