Looking for recipes that are relatively easy and tast good. Tried a few that I found online but nothing that tastes good.
They look tasty but I was more thinking recipes to make a protein bar. I have used oats bananas berries etc but they always come out sort of stale and not too good tasting. Trying to make natural bars that I could whip up on a Sunday then take to work with throughout the week.
oh wow there is a lots of tasty recipes and they all are looking very nice.
Not exactly a protein bar, but a high protein snack that's easy to eat. Two cups skim milk, one package chocolate fudge sugar free Jell-o pudding mix, and two scoops of chocolate protein powder (you can also use vanilla, but why). I usually divide this up into 5 servings and take one in my lunch each day of the week (I use 4 oz plastic containers). High protein pudding snacks for the little kid in me.
I make simple ones with 8 scoops whey protein, 1 cup oatmeal, .5 cup flaxmeal, 1TBSP honey, crushed nuts (I like almonds or sunflower seeds), 1TBSP nut butter (I use almond butter), and enough milk to make it a very thick mix (about .25 cup). Mix well, form into bars and refrigerate. They are yummy and very fast and easy to make. Comes to about 250cal, 20g of protein (8 bars).
Ingredients 60 grams freeze-dried strawberries 60 grams unsweetened shredded coconut 60 grams unflavoured whey protein powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 60 millilitres unsweetened coconut or almond milk 80 grams dark chocolate Directions Place the strawberries in the bowl of a food processor and process until finely ground. Add the coconut and whey, and vanilla, and process until the mixture is fine but not totally ground to a flour. There may be small pieces of berry or coconut. This is great as it adds texture. Add the coconut or almond milk and process until the mixture starts to come together. Line a bar tin with silicone paper and press the mixture evenly into the tin. Cover and refrigerate until it firms up. Alternatively, you can just divide the mixture into 4 or 8 equal portions and form in to bars. Place on a tray, lined with silicone paper, and refrigerate until they firm up enough to coat. Place the dark chocolate into a plastic bowl and microwave for about one minute. It might need another 15 seconds or so. Stir the mixture until melted. Keep stirring the mixture as it cools slightly. You can also melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Once melted, remove from the heat and stir until it cools slightly. Coat each bar in the chocolate and set on to a tray, lined with silicone paper, to set completely. You can set the bars at room temperature or place in the refrigerator for ten minutes or so until the chocolate sets. Joeswinn college paper writing service

A protein bar is what I usually ate ever since I became hooked on my school stuff as there is less time for me to prepare some meal. It would be good to make your own bar where you can put all those ingredients you would like, so can you keep me updated if there's anyone here who have come up with a great homemade bar? I'd love to make my own as well. Gladly http://thewriterscafepress.com/ has lessened some of my burden with essay writing, maybe I can put some of my energy making some protein bar of my own.
