Assistance please

Hey guys and gals,
I am looking for some support and help. I underwent a divorce and now am a full time Dad and student. But, I have two kids and alittle bit of time to workout. I guess I am looking for moral support from anyone who understands that struggle and can try to help me stay on track. I guess it is more rough than I could ever imagine and just seeing if there was anyone who'd be willing to help me.

Taking care of yourself

I was a single father for a while and recall that the thing that helped me a lot during that time was reminding myself on a regular basis that taking care of myself is a way of taking care of my children as well. I use that as motivation in my workouts still to this day, particularly when I find myself making excuses or dragging my feet to the gym or pool. Its a challenging juggling act to be sure, but I've found that staying true to myself has been one of the best things I've ever done for my kids, and sometimes that means leaving them with another trusted adult and getting my excercise. Hope that helps.

My mom somehow made it work with me...and I was an asshole as a teen. It's a struggle for sure. You're going to have days that just suck the life out of you. Days where you feel like it's a non-stop bullet train. Days where your kids won't appreciate the things you're sacrificing for them.

But just remember - they will eventually realize what you did for them. I can honestly say that knowing what my mom went through and what she did for me has made a big impact on my adult life.

I don't know what motivates you. You have to find that yourself. Whatever that is, use it.

Hope you are doing well. And I'm sure that going to the gym has helped you a lot and you just had a chance to leave your stress there. As for the studies, I have the same problem. Lack of time...but I've found a great helper though, Essay Vikings com CA is the best helper I could ever dreamed of. And now I have more time to dedicate to my kids and hobbies.
