Im trying to burn a lot of body fat and get cut with the muscles i already have.

Is compound heavy lifting better than running?

EQ. Squats with dumbbells, curls, push ups etc. in 1 workout for 10 mins, 10 sec rest vs running for 2 miles

Which is better?
Which would get me to burn my body fat a lot faster?
How about a combination of both?
