    Unhappy Android Wear 2.0

I really, REALLY, wanted to be able to use Jefit on an android smartwatch.
After reading the various forum posts about smartwatches, it seemed one running Android Wear 2 should work.
I just bought a Hauwei Watch 2 running Android 2.0, and Jefit is does not come up under the watch's native Google Play App browser, and when I attempt to install the Jefit app from a computer, it says the app is not compatible with the watch.

What gives? Did I miss something somewhere?
Being able to use Jefit on a smartwatch was one of the deciding factor to actually make the purchase.

Is there something I need to do to enable the watch to run Jefit?
Is the app version in Google's app store not the right one? Is there somewhere else to get a compatible version?

Anyone else running Jefit on an Android Wear 2 watch, and if so, how did you do it?

Thanks for your support and responses.

I'm pretty frustrated and bummed out about it not working.

    So, an update...
It seems the Hauwei Watch 2 is in the middle of rolling out an update to Oreo. I'm not sure my watch went through the update, or if I did something different, but I was able to load Jefit on the watch (the Google App Store screen on the watch's initial 'mini-tutorial' gave me a scrolling list of "these apps are on your phone, do you want to load them on your watch?").
I loaded Jefit successfully from that screen.

When I opened the app on the watch, it prompted me to open the app on my phone and navigate to the 'reps/weight' screen. I chose a daily routine, navigate to the specific reps/weight screen on the phone, and the watch displayed the exercise with my programmed number of sets showing the reps/weight. I WAS able to adjust the reps and weight on the watch - some other folks posting in the forum said they weren't able to do that from the watch interface; however, the phone's screen went into 'sleep' mode while I was messing with the watch, and I'm not sure the watch would advance to the next exercise in the routine. (Sorry, pressed for time and had to run out the door for work.)

I'll mess with the watch more and see what I can, and cannot, do and post the results here.

I'm very interested to hear what other users are experiencing with their Android smartwatches, particularly if anyone else is using the same watch I have.

Hello raxxter, thanks for taking the time to test the app on your android device. We admit that there may be intermittent issues with synchronization and functions of the watch and the app and this is something we've already brought up with our developers. They are already aware of this and have just gone thru rigorous tests to see what works and what not for them to release the fix in the coming update.

I have the Polar M600 and have only ever been able to get the app to open, but not do anything else.

Also, do you plan any integration to be able to log cardio from a smartwatch rather than have to enter it manually?
