They are also versatile exercises that require only a pair of dumbbells to get the job done. Therefore, each of the exercises can be performed either in the gym, at home or while traveling. The following list looks at the twelve best dumbbell leg exercises according to their popularity within the Jefit community. The most popular leg exercises have the highest number of downloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-upper-lower-leg-muscles\">Upper &amp; Lower Leg Muscles<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The upper leg consists of the following &#8220;major&#8221; muscle groups. Keep in mind there are other smaller muscle groups not mentioned here that make up both the upper and lower leg.
