Celebrating progress, one rep at a time.
At Jefit, we’ve always believed that every fitness journey matters — whether you’re lifting heavy in the gym, doing bodyweight squats at home, or simply searching for a routine that works.
Over the years, millions have downloaded the app. But behind those numbers are real people — each one with their own reason to begin, their own version of “progress,” and their own wins, big or small.
From longtime lifters to first-time gym-goers, here are a few powerful stories from the Jefit community. These aren’t just transformations — they’re reminders that showing up looks different for everyone, and that every step forward counts.
Ten Years Later, It’s a Shared Journey

“That’s me before I started using Jefit… and now, 10 years later, I train with my son. 💙”

I started using JEFIT back in 2015, right after finishing my very first strength training program. I was looking for an app that could help me stay consistent and track my workouts — and JEFIT delivered.
What I love most is how it helps me stay focused. I can build my own programs, view past session data, and make sure I’m always progressing. Being able to look back and push forward is incredibly motivating.
My favorite feature? Sharing workouts with my community. It’s such a great feeling knowing we’re all doing the same workout and cheering each other on — it keeps me accountable and inspired.
From Bodyweight to Barbell PRs

“From bodyweight basics to barbell PRs — two years with Jefit and not switching anytime soon.”

Before Jefit, I was already active — not living a sedentary lifestyle — but most of what I did was cardio and bodyweight exercises. Morning jogs, bike rides, swimming, and basic moves like planks, crunches, and bodyweight squats made up my routine.
I started using Jefit around the same time I got my first gym membership. It was actually the second or third app I tried. I remember getting three complimentary sessions with a coach, and I was looking for an app that could help guide me. At first, I was just tracking workouts in my phone notes — exercises, reps, and weights — nothing structured.
I don’t even remember the names of the other apps I tried, just that they were more highly rated but packed with paywalls. Jefit gave me the freedom I was looking for, and I’ve stuck with it ever since.
What I love most is the ability to fully customize my workouts. The interface is simple, effective, and does exactly what I need — no fluff. I honestly don’t see myself switching. This app is it for me.
I’ve been using Jefit for about two years now, and some of my proudest moments have been seeing real progress — going from the 30lb ladies’ barbell to eventually hitting bodyweight squats, bench, and deadlifts. That growth keeps me coming back.
From “Tomorrow” to Today

“In 2024, I stopped saying ‘tomorrow’ — Jefit gave me the structure to finally show up, stay consistent, and feel stronger than ever.”
📸 Colin Borck (FitInkGuy)
I’ve been using Jefit on and off for years, but 2024 was the year I finally decided to commit. I was tired of feeling like my health and fitness were always “tomorrow’s project.”
Jefit gave me structure, accountability, and the confidence to keep going. I went from feeling average and inconsistent to stronger, leaner, and more energized than I’ve ever been. The app made tracking my workouts simple, and seeing my progress week after week kept me motivated.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, not just physically, but mentally. Jefit has been more than an app; it’s been my partner in building the discipline and resilience I needed to transform my life.
From Struggling Alone to Rebuilding With Support

“Jefit gave me more than structure — it gave me the strength, the community, and the reason to keep going”
📸 Andy C Lopez.
I first downloaded Jefit in 2020 but didn’t stick with it at the time. When I picked my fitness back up later, I remembered Jefit — and this time, I needed more than just a workout tracker. I needed structure, community, and motivation.
Seeing other users like Dwideman inspired me to take it seriously. I went Elite, started using the Iron Points system, and began sharing progress photos through my online profile. The app helped me stay consistent with real numbers, graphs, and progress reports that made me feel accountable — to myself, and to others.
My journey hasn’t been easy. I deal with health challenges like arthritis, spinal disc disease, neuropathy, and mental health struggles. Before Jefit, I felt isolated and unmotivated. But now, I see my progress — my strength, my speed, even my confidence — and I know I’m not alone.
Started Small, Tracked It All

“Started using Jefit as a broke 20-year-old in 2012 — it helped me learn, stay consistent, and track years of progress I’m proud of today.” 📸 Cameron Gomula (Apcfan009)
I started using this app all the way back in 2012. I wanted something to help me keep track of my weight because I could not keep up with notebooks. I was a broke 20 year old who didn’t know much about fitness or what exercises to do but I was determined to learn. The fact I could get their premium version by being active enticed me to stick with the app and the aim for breaking goals and records the app tracked made me push harder. Since then, I’ve seen amazing progress and being able to track what I’ve achieved over the years has been a major contributor to that. I also love having a platform to interact with other like-minded people and give tips and my experiences
Turning Back the Clock

“I used to feel lost training alone — Jefit helped me shed 25 pounds, build muscle, and feel part of something bigger as I approach 50.”
📸Kristine Masterson (VillainousEverAfter)
I felt disorganized before I found Jefit. Workouts felt like guessing games and I didn’t know how to track anything properly. As someone who uses a home gym, I also felt pretty isolated.
Jefit gave me structure, and the community made me feel like I was part of a bigger gym space. I’ve lost approximately 25 pounds, gained muscle mass, and now follow a plan based on one of Jefit’s blog posts on slow muscle gains.
I’m more consistent, more confident, and love seeing my progress in pictures and stats. The monthly challenges and rankings keep me motivated. Jefit’s been a big part of helping me turn back the clock as I head into my 50s.
Stronger After 55

“I’ve been training for 15+ years, but Jefit finally made it effective — now at 55+, I feel stronger than ever.”
📸Wolfgang Coster (Wolfgang07)
When I started my fitness journey over 15 years ago, I was without a plan. My training was ineffective and frustrating.
With Jefit, everything became structured and measurable. The ability to track records and see my stats helped keep me focused and consistent. I’m now over 55 and feel fitter than I ever have — even if my progress photos don’t show excessive gains, I’ve gained strength, energy, and motivation.
The Jefit community adds that extra layer of inspiration — sharing progress and connecting with others keeps me going.
No More Guesswork. Just Gains.

“Used to scribble workouts on paper and lose them in my gym bag — now Jefit keeps everything in one place (and I actually stick to it).”
📸️ Dan G. Ochoa(Danyboy8)
I’ve been using the Jefit app since 2013, and honestly, it’s made working out so much easier over the years. Back in the day, I used to track all my workouts on paper — scribbling down sets, weights, and reps in a notebook that I’d always forget at home or lose in my gym bag. It worked, but it was kind of a mess. Once I started using Jefit, everything changed. Suddenly, I had all my routines, weights, and progress right on my phone. It helped me stay consistent and tweak my workouts as I got stronger. Plus, being able to see my progress over time — and even share it — has been super motivating. Now, training feels more streamlined and a lot less like guesswork. I can’t imagine going back to paper logs again!
It’s been 15 years — thanks for being part of it.
We’re here for lifters like you.
Embrace the grind. Let’s keep going.
