Solutions for force close problems

Note: force close problems are less likely exist in latest version DroidFit.

We try hard to make DroidFit bug free, but we do make mistakes sometime. If you encounter Force Close problem in older version DroidFit or updating from older version, here are solutions for you:

Solution 1: Send your DroidFit database to us (Best solution to help us identify the bugs)

This the best solution to help us to identify the bugs, but you need to know how to get the DroidFit database.

Step 1: Obtaining your DroidFit database. There are two ways you can get your database,we recommend method 1 :

Obtaining database Method 1:

1.) Start DroidFit program.

2.) Go to Profile Tab section, then click on Export.

3.) Database backup file named droidfit.bak now has been created in your SD card.

4.) Copy /sdcard/droidfit/droidfit.bak file to your computer.

Obtaining database Method 2:

This Method is for advanced Anderoid phone users only. If for some reasons, you cannot even start DroidFit program. You can direct copy /data/data/droid.fit/databases/data to your computer. The file named data is your DoirdFit database. It located in you phone program directory. So you need superuser permissions in order to copy it. You can get superuser permission by rooting your phone or some other ways.

Step 2: Email your database file to us at support@droidfit.com. We will get back to you within 24 hours

Solution 2: Fresh Install (Simplest solution)

This solution is for people who don’t have much logs yet and feel OK to lose current data and start over.

Step 1:  Complete uninstall this app from setting. (Go to Setting -> Applications -> Manage application – > uninstall DroidFit.

Step 2: Download the latest version DroidFit from Market Place and install it.

Solution 3: Export,Reinstall,Import

This solution is for people who need their logs and are able to export their data.

Step 1: Exporting data to SD card.

1.) Start DroidFit program.

2.) Go to Profile Tab section, then click on Export. Your data will be saved in your SD card now.

Step 2:  Complete uninstall this app from setting. (Go to Setting -> Applications -> Manage application – > uninstall DroidFit.

Step 3: Download the latest version DroidFit from Market Place and install it.

Step 4: Importing data

1.) Start DroidFit program.

2.) Go to Profile Tab section, then click on Import.

Step 5: After importing the data, program will try to update your database to current version. everthing should be fine now.

If for some reason program force close during updating (force close on home screen, even you do nothing), Please use Solution 1 or 2.
