breezy1149 I did a 16/8 window for a few months b4 I got a gym membership. Lost 20 Lbs .... but looking back I don't really attribute it to the fast, it was calories in versus calories out all day long in my mind, I was tracking my food w an app and a digital scale an stayed at 2 k cals the whole time, which is about an 800 cal deficit for myself...Haven't went back to it since...Can't see how its good for muscle growth, especially the more extreme ones ...Id have a hard time squeezing 200 grams of protein in an 8-hour window, and even if I could it probably wouldn't be that productive... I like to spread the protein out in 4 meals over the course of the day

salmong I tried it a few years ago for about a month. I noticed the loss of belly fat but, also a slight decrease in muscle size. At that time, I was already quite fit so it was not necessary but, I just wanted to test it to see the results. The problem was that during my feeding window, I just couldn't eat enough calories needed for maintenance. I think the idea behind it is good because it gives your system longer to recover which is better than constant eating. Now, I try to eat all the micros I need in a 12-hour window so that I can rest my system for the other 12. This is more manageable for me than the 6-18-hour window I tried in the past.

whatsup.doc.cuculea I did 9 months once and 11 months the second time on a 23 1 window. ( eating just once within an hour everyday). What exactly do you want to know?

LizLifts24 I’ve done a more casual approach where I delay breakfast and just have coffee. I’ve gone through phases where I don’t have a big appetite or keep my meals during the day really simple and then eat dinner.

StrokeFit I essentially do a 16/8 fast. im not strict on it but i usually go longer.

I delay breakfast until 10:00 this is when my team takes lunch.

I find out helps regulate insulin sensitivity, controlling how much I eat, if I eat earlier I'll eat more than when I fast.

When I fast I find cognitive fictions are better and feel sharper.
