But we can still be as strong. Lifting weights and exercise will actually give you the physique and ? shape you want to achieve. Also stop running from a calorie surplus the moment the scale goes up a bit. Learn to get a little uncomfortable short term to build the shape you want long term. If you want to build your hams/glutes at add more muscle to your physique, but the instant the scale goes up a KG or the pants feel a bit tighter, and you run back to a calorie deficit, then that will get in the way of doing the things to achieve your big goal.
