I tried several different brands, but the product in the picture is my favourite brand. The chocolate flavour is great, and it's quickly dissoluble. I use it occasionally. Sometimes as a jetlag remedy and other times when I need a deeper sleep for more recovery, especially if my sleep is predicted to be shorter due to a predicted early rise in the morning. After several years of sporadic use, I noticed that melatonin helps me fall asleep much quicker, especially when I'm struggling to do so. I haven't noticed much difference between taking it half an hour before going to sleep or immediately before sleeping time when I am already in bed, ready to depart to La La Land.
A 5mg dose works best for me. 😴
- 3gr Glycine,
- 1gr Tryptophan or 500mg + 100mg 5-HTP
- 3gr Inulin
- 3gr Taurine
- 400mg Magnesium citrate o maleate or bisglycinate
- 100mg Apigenin
30-45min before bed with an empty stomach though ideally the apigenin and magnesium should be taken after dinner for better bioavalability.
Reason for this combo is all of the ingredients have a super safe profile and can be taken regularly without consequences if needed to.
