Maybe you can try swimming as a joint-freindly cardio. I like it much, if you have the time and the possibility to go to a nearby swimming-pool and you are a bit familiar with the swimming technique!

I do Jitz for my cardio... learn a skill while getting my cardio in. no matter how much I train I can't seem to have enough cardio to no be gassed... 3 years in.
