What are you biggest gym pet peeves? I'll start:
* when I spend the first 10 min of my workout wiping someone else's sweat off the equipment and searching for scattered dumbbells ๐ก

Packs of young bucks hogging the racks (we only have 3). I did a whole leg workout without racks the other night, while I watched 3 of them rotate and chat. I swear only 20 reps were done in over an hour. Gym was packed too. ๐คฃ

my pet peeve is how big of a step backwards this new version of this app is. So convoluted, so many extra steps to do things, so unintuitive,such poor UI design.

when they put a mat down and stretch right near me in a squatting station. I imagine what would happen if I had to bail 400lbs off my back and they get squished

Mixing up plates on the racks.
Wasting time sitting on a machine playing with your phone.
Carrying your gym bag around with you in the gym and leaving it in the way of others.

All of the above. Also, this is nobody's fault but I hate it when there isn't a bench already in place under the rack, and I have to go bring a bench from another spot and then maneuver it in place. The benches at my gym are super heavy and can only be lifted from one end.

Leaving equipment loaded up with 45# and 100# weights โผ๏ธ I talked to him about and he removes the weights now, so not really fair to mention. Also offering the alternate the use of a particular bench and he ๐ฏ takes it over lol

Dropping the weights (deadlifts not included)
Taking too long between sets b/c they are scrolling on social media or texting and lose track of time.
Filming in the gym.
Hogging two machines at the same time in a busy gym.
Making loud noises when lifting the weights so everybody hears.
Not treating the equipment with respect.

I hate it when people donโt de-rack the plates. I dislike when they do circuits club and steal all the matt space and we have to do floor work amongst the machines. People sitting between sets on benches when the gym is full and their exercise doesnโt incorporate the bench.
