I do the best I can for me in that moment. I try to compete with myself and beat the last set, either in weight or reps. If I’m in a real slump, I think of my brother. He was a bodybuilder and always encouraged me to do the same. I imagine he’d be calling me a fighter to keep going.

I play music. I do super sets, add in abs between sets and farmer Carrie’s. I just do what I can with the time I have. If it’s a slower day I just pace myself

Visualize what was good/bad with the previous set on the same exercise and how I'm gonna improve on the set coming up.
Did I let elbows go a little too high? Did I not hold my shoulder in place? etc etc.
A few min later I am super excited for the next set because I'm gonna kick the last sets ass so hard..

Start thinking of your next exercise; concentrate on your current lift, and thinking about the next one. Next thing you know you are doing that next exercise.
