To the more experienced lifters among us — what’s one training or nutrition habit you’ve kept over the years that’s really paid off?”

apcfan009 What got me out of gaining and losing the same 10 pounds was maintenance periods. cutting and letting my body acclimate to how it feels being that light and conversely, letting my body understand the muscle I built on a bulk isn't going anywhere and taking a few weeks to adjust to that too

Kogre Stay consistent. Make protein your priority. Meal prep.

p.bxtrm Going back to experience based info over science based info for lifting while staying with science based info for nutrition.

Workout Addict Training habit: Focusing on the lift before actually doing it. I picture in my mind doing the lift and the number of reps.

Nutrition habit: Planning my meals in advance. I make sure I am getting enough protein, fats, and carbs. I am on the Mediterranean Diet.

kalashkid if you bulk and cut, mainly manipulate your carbs. raise them in a bulk, lower them in a cut and keep protein and fat mostly stable
