lift first, ask questions later

Carphill007 It doesn’t have to be either/or. I’d advocate starting over intensive research to begin, but when I did this I quickly found amazing content to help me put some better structure and technique into my workouts that really helped me progress faster and understand what to expect. I think the perfect way to go about your learning is the same as your lifting - progressive overload. A little better every day.

p.bxtrm Yes!! Spend time learning to lift like a fucking maniac, to push yourself to the absolute limit. It's an art than you have to develop, and it takes time.
About 80% of lifters have 2-4 reps left when they think they hit failure, even amongst trained individuals its above 50%.
This is the one thing that hold people back the most.
When you got that in place it's time to learn technique.
