Recovery, how do you all recover after a workout? I have been looking at taking Ice Baths or maybe Sauna afterwards. Since I have been 5 days a week in the gym I feel less pronounced muscle soreness after each workout but I feel it much more after an evening training martial arts.

Workout Addict I do yoga after a workout. It really helps in the muscle recovery.

pdumenil I have magnesium baths and use my massage gun , massage roller and sleep . Have not tried ice baths however I don’t even like it if the water goes a bit cold in the shower so don’t think it would be my cup of tea ha ha

Going to bed and wake up at the same time each day?
Just moving sleep 60 min a single day gonna affect recovery more than anything else can fix.
I don't do anything but the above. They are 95% of recovery.

Ice baths are negative for strenght and hypertrophy. Sauna might have some minimal positive effects, hot baths are better if the effect actually is there.

Carphill007 Don’t do ice bath for hypertrophy. It’ll make you feel better but is the opposite of what you need. Sauna gets the blood flowing which is more of what you want. I love a jacuzzi after a hard training session for relaxation. I also use gels and a massage gun.
