What are the best accessory lifts to help break through a plateau on my bench press? 💪💯

Narcisjefit Where does your bar usually get stuck (off the chest or at lockout)? 💪 Close-grip bench, dips, and tricep extensions are clutch. Most plateaus come from weak triceps or lockout strength, so hammer those along with paused bench or pin presses to attack sticking points .

Also mix in rows/lats and flies for balance and stability

livelikeanapexpredator you know those metal clips used to secure plates on barbells? I definitely dont clip as I usually bench alone. but my progression now is literally 2 clips hanging on the handles of the plates. it adds weight.. its a little weight. but it adds. 😅

working back to my 100s alone.

p.bxtrm Use micro plates. Plateaus doesn't exist. You most def can add on 0.25 pounds per week.
Also remember that strength seem to max out at about 5 sets per week.
