Stretching = multiplier, not the main driver
The real combo for growth:
Strength training + full ROM + loaded stretch positions + consistency

If you are talking about stretch-mediated hypertrophy, the answer is yes. If you are talking about regular stretching before and after a workout, the answer is maybe. It may help prevent injury and help in the recovery process.

Technically yes because stretching causes tension in the muscle but in reality you would have to stretch each muscle for hours a day (its been tested with calves gorvexample using a device that would stretch them while you sleep) to cause any impact so what we know as normal stretching session will not be enough to cause muscle growth.

Weightlifting is essentially loaded stretching so yes but not in the way you think. Its why full ROM is important. Use lower weights but get those muscles to a full stretch and you’ll know you’ve done good work, during and after.

Being flexible is good though.
