Full transparency: My workoutscan be grueling and these have sustained me. I've only been working out since the Pandemic ended and I'm going to be 50 soon, so I have NO insight other than social media suggestions. What types of pre-workout or supplements do you guys use and/or what should I be looking at and considering? Any insight is appreciated.

trimo2020 I was thinking about this for a second. people spend money on all sorts of stuff to help their gym progress. most of the stuff is useless and psychological.

I think the best pre-workout is the effort you put into what you did for your sleep quantity and duration. when you are well rested , mentally and physically, you will kick ass in your session.

harder to achieve than buying something from the store. it's in the real effort of your pre workout sleep prep.

rdernbach I’m 53 and started getting more serious and consistent at the pandemic as well. I currently use a preworkout (but am considering just using the ingredients that help with the pump and bloodflow since I’m not crazy about the caffeine. I also take creatine, magnesium, ashwaganda root, vitamin D and zinc(during the winter months).
