I usually end up manually changing it. It suggests loads that are too heavy for me and it progresses too quickly. I rather progress 5 lbs at a time, not 15 lbs. I’m way too afraid of injury advancing that quickly.

It doesn't work at all for me -- so I disabled it in my settiings. In my case, I think that these might be factors getting in the way:
> I'm older (age 72)-- so I am just not going to progress at the same rate as a young 20-something. I don't think the system takes age into account.
> I'm not always doing the same exercises with the same intensity. Some days I take a more form-focused approach and slow down, perhaps dropping to a lighter weight, and focus on things like my range of motion, or coordinating breath and bracing with the lifting. Some days I practice movements at home with lighter weights than are available at the gym. The adaptive system can't read my mind.
> The adaptive system often suggests weight levels that just don't exist at my gym. The system doesn't know what equipment is available to me at the time I'm exercising.
I find it more helpful to pay attention to RPE and just review my past logs to get a sense of when I am ready to move up in weight.

Do you mean when it suggests something? Eh, it’s hit or miss. I can tell it’s AI vs someone actually reviewing your plans. So I use it for some exercises like squats but ignore it for others like shoulder press bc it jumped me from 15lb to 45lb. (I go to failure at 15lb soooo what is happening!? lol). I say try it and if you don’t like it, just revert back. Also, sometimes it doesn’t remember that it suggested the last workout so it can be inconsistent
