I'm a natural lifter and don't have a large recovery rate because of that. I routinely practice all three major lifts (SBD) but am seeing other dudes at my gym benching much larger numbers than me. Am I just super weak in bench or could it be that they aren't training the other heavy lifts. I rarely see many people squatting or deadlifting more than 225 and only 1 or 2 people ever doing more than me on squats and deadlifts.
For reference, I have been training SBD for 1 year now and can only bench 225x5.
What we also need to remember is genetics really do play a big role in lifting weights. Some guys are just genetic freaks that pack on muscle just by looking at weights, others just take more time. Recovery rates differ between everyone, so don't be hard on yourself!
What I can recommend is optimizing your diet, your sleep, progressive overloading all of your workouts, and bring intensity to ever rep. At the end of the day, it's you versus you!! Stay hungry and get tf after my brother 💪💪
