how do you deal with the naysayers, doubters, and people who might not see your fitness level or journey?

booner824 Let them hate. Your opinion of yourself is all that matters. Speak well about yourself and forget all the nay sayers.

BrewerScott I've worked out, off and on, for decades--mostly off. Never had enough momentum or habit to see any lasting results. I also would make the mistake of reporting my "starts" on Facebook, only to quit after a month or so. Now I'm 56 and I've been hitting the gym 3-4 times a week, every week for a year. I'm in my best shape since high school and the visible improvements have kept me inspired to continue. Work out for you. Be patient. Listen to your body and tune out the naysayers.

tragland I realize that they have a fear of change and it is on them. they are just projecting their negative belief in themselves on you. the most I do is feel sorry for them bc they are holding themselves back.

keep pushing and set an example for them. maybe when they see your journey and transformation they will think "maybe I can do that too".

Workout Addict I workout for myself and not for them. I am very secure about myself and don’t try to impress others (except my wife 😂).

Dharbour83 I received a lot of that and frankly I really don’t care about negative remarks. I’m doing this for me, ignore them and do your thing.

itsabird I don't. I do it for me, not them, and it's none of their business.
